Shepherd Prime, J&E Shepherd Chartered Surveyors division specialising in high value prime residential property, has doubled the size of its London office and doubled the size of its London-based team with the appointment of Jeremy Lyons as Managing Director and three key members of the former Ashdown Lyons Surveyors team.
The appointments follows the wind up of Ashdown Lyons earlier this year when it became one of the highest profile casualties of the credit crunch in the surveying sector.
Ian Fergusson, Managing Partner at J&E Shepherd, said, “We’re delighted to welcome Jeremy and his team to Shepherd’s, who bring with them a wealth of experience and in-depth understanding of the particular requirements of the private banking sector.
“With a remit to build on our existing penetration of the capital’s vibrant prime residential property markets, Jeremy and his team have already realised a stream of successes with private banks ready to come back to the market to lend again.”
Meanwhile, following relocation from the James Street, London office, Shepherd’s has expanded to an office at Victoria Street SW1 as it seeks to place itself at the very heart of the capital’s financial and property sectors.
Established 125 years ago, J&E Shepherd delivers a valuation service throughout the UK, from a network of 32 offices throughout Scotland and over 75 locations in England, Wales and the Channel Islands. The firm offers a multi disciplinary property service to include valuation, commercial agency, building surveying, rent reviews, development and investment consultancy, rating and property management.
