Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has appointed David Paterson as a Chartered Building Surveyor based in its Dundee office.

Fife born and bred Mr Paterson can boast an all round commercial building surveying background with experience working for Hardies and Capita in Glasgow, Pentarq in Thurso and, most recently, Smiths Gore in Fochabers.

Graeme McDonald, Head of Building Surveying at Shepherd, said, “David is a very welcome addition to our Building Surveying team in Dundee at a time when we are seeing a significant increase in workload. David’s varied experience will benefit the diverse workload we often cover and I’m sure will benefit our existing and new clients. Having roots in Fife, part of David’s role will be to develop our Building Surveying presence there and service our St Andrews, Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline offices.”
