Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has delivered Royal Mail a helping hand this year by securing two temporary Christmas lets.

The lettings in question are the entire 59,200 sq ft of distribution and warehousing space at Whistleberry Industrial Park, Blantyre and for 15,400 sq ft of industrial space at Carsegate Road, Inverness.

Jamie Savage, commercial surveyor at Shepherd, said, “Following an extensive search of available/suitable industrial units throughout the central belt and the north of Scotland, we managed to find exactly what Royal Mail was looking for to help them cope with the annual deluge of Christmas mail they deal with in Scotland.”

Whistleberry Industrial Estate in Blantyre is recognised as a strategic industrial/distribution location benefiting from excellent road links with direct access to the A725 East Kilbride

Expressway. This links on to Junction 5 of the M74, providing access north west into Glasgow and south east towards England.

Carsegate Road is located within an established industrial location in Inverness, the capital of the Highlands.
