Two development opportunities currently being marketed by J&E Shepherd Chartered Surveyors are going to closing dates this month, providing welcome evidence that, despite what the doomsayers might have us believe, there is a healthy level of demand for property development opportunities throughout central Scotland.
The first development opportunity comprises a large traditional clubhouse at Park Terrace, Polmont, located towards the east of the town of Falkirk north of the Union Canal.
Euan Creanor, surveyor at J&E Shepherd, said, “Park Terrace is at the heart of a predominantly residential area and the site benefits from extensive views over the Forth, which would certainly enhance the attraction of potential development. The level of interest in this opportunity has been such that we have now set a closing date of 21st February.”
Meanwhile, a second development opportunity comprising a large former church building at Invercanny Drive, Drumchapel, Glasgow is also set to go to a closing date.
“This property sits in a substantial site allowing ample scope for potential redevelopment,” said Mr Creanor. “Once again, demand has been buoyant and a closing date will be set.”
