Press releases menu

J&E Shepherd Chartered Surveyors is offering the famous ‘Ice Factory’ nightclub in Perth which recently closed its doors for let or sale.

The property would be suitable for a variety of uses, including continuation of licensed use. It is positioned on the south side of Perth city centre on Shore Road overlooking the River Tay and, as such, benefit from an excellent location adjacent to the South Inch.

The property comprises a two storey detached former industrial building with a number of other single storey and two storey outbuildings which adjoin and interlink with the main building. Surrounding occupiers include a modern office development, industrial and harbour related uses. The building was extensively refurbished 15 years ago to provide a 1300 capacity night-club.

Jonathan Reid, associate at J & E Shepherd’s Perth office, said, “Consideration will be given to sub-division of the subjects. We are of the opinion that the property would be suitable for a variety of uses, including a children’s nursery/play centre, office, licensed use and a number of other commercial uses, all subject to obtaining the appropriate planning consent.”

The total site area extends to approximately 0.62 acres and the total gross area extends to around 21,500 sq ft. There is a large car park facility adjoining the premises.

Whilst Shepherd’s client’s preference is to seek rental offers for all or part of the premises, offers to purchase the property and site will also be considered.
