Press releases menu

Already one of the largest independent firms of chartered surveyors in the UK, J&E Shepherd has appointed three new managing partners as the latest part of a comprehensive restructure put in place to keep pace with significant expansion over recent years.

This latest series of senior promotions follows in the wake of the appointment of George Brewster as senior partner at the end of last year as well as a trio of partnership and six new associate appointments made earlier this month.

The new trio of managing partners comprises: Ian Hannon, who oversees the commercial sector in Edinburgh, Lothian and the Borders ; Graeme Stewart, with responsibility for the residential sector in Ayr and Paul Letley, who oversees property management throughout Scotland.

Commenting on these latest appointments Mr Brewster said, “Commercial property, residential property and property management represent three of our key services and these three senior promotions have been made to ensure that the firm can continue to build on, and maximise the benefit to be realised from, recent growth.”

J&E Shepherd offers a multi disciplinary property service to include valuation, commercial agency, building surveying, rent reviews, development and investment consultancy, rating and property management.

The firm, which operates from a network of 28 offices throughout Scotland and over 75 locations from two administration centres in England and Wales, recently opened a new London City office which has significantly enhanced its ability to penetrate and serve the capital’s vibrant commercial property market.
