Shepherd rolls out Scotland-wide free video tours of commercial properties
Following universally positive client feedback received from a pilot programme run throughout the Grampian region, Shepherd Chartered Surveyors is rolling out free video tours of commercial properties throughout the length and breadth of Scotland.
Believed to be the first commercial surveying practice in Scotland to offer nationwide video tours on such a comprehensive scale, the facility offers tours of circa 200 commercial properties of all types and sizes, from the smallest retail outlet to the largest industrial unit.
According to James Morrison, an Associate within Shepherd’s Aberdeen Commercial Department, the introduction of the video tours marks the latest stage in the continuous evolution of the range of services the firm can offer to the dynamic commercial property marketplace.
“Our video tours enhance the commercial agency services that we can offer our long-established private and public sector client base,“ he said.
“They have been designed specifically to meet the needs and demands of a growing number of clients who have expressed a wish to have an option to view videos of commercial properties.
“This has been an emerging trend prior to the advent of the coronavirus pandemic that has become more prevalent since, as clients have experienced frustration at being unable to physically view commercial property.”
The facility enables interested parties to access video tours of commercial properties at their leisure in the comfort of their own home or office at any time that suits.
“We have committed a considerable investment in editing and other software to ensure the production quality of the videos are of the requisite professional standard and the feedback from clients has been universally positive,” said Mr Morrison.
“The videos will also link into our recently launched auctions site at www.shepherd.co.uk/commercial-auctions so that those parties interested in properties at auction, who may not require to visit a property physically, can access a video of the property in question.”
