Angus Council instructs Shepherd to market leisure centre in Forfar for lease

Acting on the instructions of Angus Council, Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has brought to market a purpose-built leisure centre in Forfar for lease.

The leisure centre is located a short distance north-west of Forfar town centre within Forfar Loch Country Park, on the eastern edge of the loch itself.

The vacant 22,213 sq ft two storey leisure centre sits on a one-acre site with a car parking area to the east side of the building and additional parking areas, a play park, tennis courts and a skate park to either side.

Scott Robertson, sales and letting agent in Shepherd’s Dundee office said: “Built around 1975, this unique building may be suitable for alternative uses, subject to planning. As such, we anticipate keen interest in this opportunity from a range of prospective tenants.”

Rental offers are invited to lease the property for a negotiable period. Interested parties should contact the sole letting agent on 01382 878005.
