Description
The subject property comprises an irregular shaped piece of land of slightly tapering topography extending to approximately 0.03 Hectares (0.08 Acres) identified shaded blue on the supplementary title plan extract opposite).
The site houses a now redundant Scottish Water concrete tank measuring approximately 4.1 m x 8.1 m with earth mounded around it and roughly grassed over. The tank has 4 secure metal covers plus a concrete cabinet with secure timber doors on top. The area is fenced with mainly timber posts plus some metal posts and wire including a top strand of barbed wire.

Location
The scenic Isle of Barra (population circa 1,174 – 2011 Census) is an island in the Outer Hebrides off the west coast of the Scottish mainland. Barra is the second southernmost inhabited island after the adjacent island of Vatersay to which it is connected by the Vatersay Causeway.
The subject site is located on the north side of Barra Airport. From the main ring road (A888), take the road in the NE signed Barra Airport, Eoligarry & Sound of Barra Ferry. Stay on this until you have driven past the airport (on the right) and then a school on your left. The road then starts to go round a hillside on your left and the tank site is on this hillside c 50m up. Easily visible from the road. Park at a gate close to a bus stop and walk from there.
