Description
The subjects comprise a former church building which is Category B Listed and approximately 300 years old. The building is of traditional stone construction and is surmounted by a single pitched and slate clad roof, incorporating a small steeple feature. There is a single storey projection to the rear which is of similar construction but with a part roughcast render finish.
The principal entry to the subjects is to the front (south) elevation via an area which was formerly used as a café, although this entrance is presently closed off for safety reasons. There is also a side entrance into the lobby and a stairwell leading to a first-floor mezzanine. Alternative main access is via the entrance from the rear courtyard leading into the single storey extension element which wraps around the north and west elevations of the main building.
