Flying Scot set for take-off as Shepherd leases land at Glasgow Airport Business Park

Acting on behalf of a local Paisley landlord, J&M Taylor Holdings, Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has secured the lease of a parcel of land at Glasgow Airport Business Park to Flying Scot, which will be offering airport parking to travellers.
The 1.5 acres of land is held within Glasgow Airport Business Park, one of the city’s most established mixed-use developments, comprising modern industrial premises, office pavilions and hotels. Glasgow Airport is less than a mile away.
The land is situated on Inchinnan Road and benefits from multiple points of vehicular access to the east and south of the site, which are protected by steel fencing.
The contained site is bound by Marchburn Drive to the north, Inchinnan Road to the east, separate industrial premises to the south and a large surface car park to the west.
The land has been leased to Flying Scot, a family-owned, independent company which aims to supply quality secure off airport parking at a low cost to the consumer, travel agents and airlines.
Calvin Molinari, associate at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors, said: “We’re delighted to secure the lease of this strategically placed parcel of land to Flying Scot, a strong independent which has been operating for over 40 years.
“The surrounding area has seen significant investment being situated within the AMIDS (Advanced Manufacturing Innovation District Scotland) South transport project that includes a road bridge crossing at Paisley Harbour for pedestrians, cyclists and road traffic.”
