2015

Martin Waite promoted to managing partner. Alan Fleming, Steven Ferguson and Kevin Bell promoted to partner. Ian Fergusson appointed as a Board member of the UK and Ireland World Regional Board of the RICS.

2014

Promotions to management partner for Steve Barnett and Darren Lewis. Opening of new office in Falkirk.

2013

Merger with Bell Ingram Commercial to create Ayrshire’s largest commercial property agency. Managing partner Ian Fergusson elected to the RICS Scotland Board as a non-executive member.

2012

Opening of office in Elgin and the promotion of three new partners: Donal Henretty in Edinburgh; James Richardson, in Aberdeen and Sandy Rennie in Inverness.

2011

Opening of first office presenting a shop front at Shawlands, Glasgow. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hamilton and Stirling offices relocate to larger premises.

2010

Graeme McDonald and Jonathan Reid promoted to partnership level.

2009

Offices open in Dumbarton and Forfar.

2007

Lachlan MacFarlane, Adrian Stott and Martin Waite are assumed as partners. An office opens in Cumbernauld.

Steven Barnett, Niall Gunn and Neil Thomson are assumed as partners.

Shepherd enters its fourth century of operations with the opening of an office in East Kilbride.

The firm is headed by David Arnot Shepherd and Derek Toft as partners.

Partnership comprises Joseph, Edward and David Arnot Shepherd as well as Frederick Henderson.

Frederick Henderson is assumed as a partner.

Edward Shepherd joins the firm.

The firm is led by partners Joseph and Inglis Shepherd.

Inglis Shepherd joins the family firm.

Joseph Shepherd is joined by Edward Shepherd and the partnership of J&E Shepherd commences.

Joseph Shepherd heads the operation.

Robert Shepherd, joiner, master wright and Free Burgess of the city, has extended the business in Dundee as a house factor and the firm continues to prosper throughout the nineteenth century.

Orcadian David Shepherd sets up trade as a joiner. The Shepherd family association threads its way throughout much of the partnership’s history.
