Dunblane-born Chris is a RICS registered valuer and is part of the commercial valuation team within the Glasgow office.

That was then
Chris came to surveying a little later in life, having previously worked as an analyst for a commercial property data company for 6 years. He completed his MSc in Real Estate Management & Development on a distance learning basis through Heriot Watt University in 2019 and shortly after joined Shepherd’s Glasgow office.

This is now
Within the valuation department, Chris covers the Glasgow City Region, North and South Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire, West and East Dunbartonshire and the Inverclyde Region. He is responsible for carrying out valuations for a broad range of private and institutional clients and has expertise across all major commercial property sectors to include office, retail, industrial, and development land.  As well as his primary role within valuation, Chris has a depth of experience dealing with all elements of lease advisory work that include representing both landlords and tenants in rent review and lease renewal negotiations.

Rest and play
Formerly residing in the City’s east end, Chris is now adjusting to life out in the sticks. In his spare time he enjoys playing football and golf, as well as hill walking (in the fairer weather).
