Who
Stirling-born Lachlan Macfarlane is a member and registered valuer of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a partner based in our Motherwell office.

Prior to joining the firm in 2000, he was an employee then partner in the family firm Macfarlane & Co from 1985. Before rejoining the family business he was employed by Bell Ingram Perth. He became a partner at Shepherd in 2008.

Lachlan has overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Motherwell office, covering an extensive geographical area for the postcode areas of Motherwell (ML1), Wishaw (ML2), Shotts (ML7), Carluke (ML8), Lanark (ML11) and Biggar (ML12).
Rest and play
Not a young man anymore, Lachlan has retired from all competitive sporting activities. When work and weather allow, restoring the family garden to its former glory would now be considered a leisure activity. Otherwise, music is dench.
