Aberdeen-born Martin Waite is a managing partner in our Glasgow South office.

That was then
Having graduated from Aberdeen University in 1993, Martin began his career balancing a professional rugby career with part time surveying. Having hung up his boots, he moved into a full-time surveying career with Shepherd in 2001. He relocated to Shepherd’s Glasgow office in 2006, becoming an associate in 2004, partner in 2007 and then managing partner in 2015.

This is now
Martin oversees the operation of the firm’s Glasgow South office, based in Shawlands. He also has wider responsibilities for the west of Scotland, including Business Development and Marketing as well as responsibility for a number of key relationships on behalf of the firm.

Rest and play
A resident of Glasgow, Martin is married with daughter Nicola and son Ben. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, rugby, travel and socialising.
