Craigieknowes Golf Course is situated on the Solway Coast, half a mile north of the village of Kippford, opposite Kippford Bay and Kippford Coastal caravan parks.

The surrounding area is well established as a thriving holiday maker and tourist destination, with Kippford renowned for its sailing links and picturesque coastal setting.
