Who
Edinburgh born Dean is a graduate surveyor based in our Dunfermline Office.

That was then
A Building Surveying graduate of Edinburgh Napier University, Dean joined J&E Shepherd in 2022. Prior to this, Dean worked throughout Edinburgh, the Lothians, and Fife as a freelance photgrapher, with a focus on residential and commercial Real Estate.

This is now
Dean is currently working towards his APC qualification with the aim of achieving membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Rest and play
An avid football fan of Livingston FC, Dean has also been a member of the Tartan Army since 2004 and has travelled widely throughout Europe following Scotland. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and relaxing with a good book.

Born and raised in Kirkcaldy, Steven is a Partner within the Dunfermline office.

That Was Then
After graduating Aberdeen University in 2012 with an honours degree in music, Steven moved back to Fife and joined Shepherds as a Graduate Surveyor in 2014. Steven gained his Masters in Real Estate Investment and Management at Edinburgh Napier University, where he won the Ryden Quaich award in recognition of outstanding achievements, in September 2016 and passed his APC in November 2016. After qualifying, Steven transferred to the Edinburgh office where he worked until 2019 when he returned to Fife to form part of the Dunfermline team.

This Is Now
A partner in the firm’s residential department in Dunfermline, Steven carries out all aspects of residential valuation work for a broad range of clients.

Rest And Play
Steven enjoys watching and playing a number of sports, particularly football and golf. Steven is a long suffering Raith Rovers fan and enjoys travelling Scotland watching the Rovers. He keeps in touch with his musical side by performing across Scotland.
