Adrian is a Partner in our Musselburgh office and a Fellow of the RICS

A graduate of Heriot-Watt University with a degree in economics, Adrian completed the College of Estate Management Diploma in Surveying whilst employed by the Valuation Office Agency in Edinburgh. He joined Shepherd in 1997 in our Edinburgh office and, since 1998, has been based in our East Lothian office.

This is now
Adrian is responsible for the running of the residential office, which covers East Lothian, parts of the Scottish Borders and North Northumberland. His work includes: residential surveying for Home Reports; mortgage valuations; asset valuations; compulsory purchase and compensation; English right to buy valuations; energy performance certificates and the entire spectrum of private client workloads. Adrian is a Past chair of the Residential Property Professional Group Board of the RICS in Scotland and remains a Board member., is an editorial board member on Scottish Surveyor magazine, was the Ombudsman Property Services Liaison panel member for Scotland and has responsibility for Shepherd’s APC training provision. He is an APC Assessor, Chair and Auditor . Adrian is a judge for the RICS awards.

Rest and play
A resident of Musselburgh, Adrian is a Liverpool and Tranmere Rovers fan, an enthusiastic, if somewhat erratic, golfer and follows the fortunes of the national rugby team with resigned realism. Directly linked to this is an appreciation of malt whisky and real ales.
