Ian F Hannon - Managing Partner

Who
Northern Ireland-born Ian Hannon is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and one of the firm’s managing partners, based in our Edinburgh office.

That was then
Having completed a degree in Town Planning, Ian embarked on a surveying career via an MLE from Aberdeen University and joined the firm in 1995 in the Dundee office. He became a partner in 2001 and was appointed a managing partner within the firm in 2008.

This is now
Ian has responsibility for the Edinburgh, Livingston, Musselburgh, and Galashiels offices, as well as overall management and business development roles throughout the firm. His expertise is in commercial property, including investment, agency, and valuation.

Rest and play
A weekend taxi driver for the children (three girls!), Ian enjoys golf, football, horse racing and has a fairly hectic social life.
