John Paul Bennett - Managing Partner

Who

Dundee-born John Paul Bennett is a Chartered Global Management Accountant and the firm’s Finance Director based between our Edinburgh and Dundee offices.

That Was Then

After graduating from Glasgow University in 2002, John Paul joined Lloyds TSB’s graduate training program. He spent over five years with LTSB in London in a variety of finance roles before the call of Caledonia brought him back north. He joined the firm upon his return in 2008 and was appointed to Managing Partner in 2011.

This Is Now

John Paul has overall responsibility for the Accounting and Finance functions of the firm and wider group, which are largely based in our Dundee Head Office. He is involved with both the daily accounting processes and the internal and external management and financial reporting. In addition, he has responsibility for the firm’s payroll and human resources.

Rest And Play

John Paul enjoys various sporting interests including squash, golf, and padel. However the majority of his free time when not with family is football related. From experiencing the highs and mainly lows of watching Aberdeen FC to playing regular 5 a-sides to coaching his twin boys’ football team.
