Who
Liam is a Partner within the commercial department of our Ayrshire offices.

That Was Then
Liam graduated from Strathclyde University in 2002 with a BSc in Geography and after a period of working with Glasgow City Council returned to Aberdeen University, graduating with an RICS – accredited master’s degree in Property & Business in 2005, and became a fully qualified Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) in 2008.

This Is Now
Liam has a broad depth of professional experience having worked across the UK and Ireland in positions involving Estates Management, Agency and Professional Services. He has been employed by a number of private organisations including DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield) and Graham + Sibbald, before taking up his current role with J & E Shepherd in 2019.

Rest And Play
Liam previously held a senior role on the Board of Management for Cunninghame Housing Association, one of Scotland’s largest Housing Associations, between 2018 and 2024. In his spare time Liam enjoys days out with his wife and three children and being involved in youth football.
