Elgin is the principal administrative and commercial centre of Moray in northeast Scotland, approximately 66 miles northwest of Aberdeen and 39 miles southeast of Inverness. The town benefits from access to the A96 trunk road, rail connections to both cities and regular bus services.Elgin accommodates Moray Council's headquarters and is the region's principal retail and service centre.
