Adam is a chartered surveyor and partner within the commercial team working with the London Mayfair Office.

That Was Then
Adam began his career with J&E Shepherd in our Aberdeen Commercial office following his graduation from the University of Aberdeen in 2016. After completing his professional qualification, Adam relocated to Glasgow to join our Commercial team, where he took a leading role in developing and delivering the agency offering across the city and wider West of Scotland. Adam played a key role in the growth and development of the firm’s commercial agency business, building strong relationships with clients and helping to establish J&E Shepherd as a leading adviser across the West of Scotland. His market knowledge, commercial approach and commitment to delivering positive outcomes for clients have been central to the continued success of the team.

In recognition of his contribution to the business and his continued development within the firm, Adam was promoted to Partner in 2023. In this role, he continues to play an important part in the strategic growth of the firm’s commercial offering, while advising clients across a broad range of property requirements.

This Is Now
Adam leads J&E Shepherd’s Commercial Agency team from the firm’s Mayfair office in London, with responsibility for developing the team’s presence and expanding the firm’s commercial agency offering across the capital and wider UK market. Based in Mayfair, Adam works closely with clients, investors, developers and occupiers across a broad range of commercial property requirements, drawing on his experience across the Scottish and UK markets to provide strategic advice and deliver results. His focus is on building the London team, strengthening client relationships and creating new opportunities for the firm, while continuing to develop J&E Shepherd’s commercial agency offering and profile within the London market.

Rest And Play
Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with friends, playing golf and following sport. A keen golfer, he enjoys getting out on the course whenever possible, alongside attending sporting events and making the most of a busy social life.

Over the past 15 years, I have built an extensive career specialising in the Central London residential property market, with a particular focus on valuation advice for high-value and complex residential assets. Throughout my career, I have provided expert valuation services across a broad spectrum of residential property types, including prime and super-prime houses, luxury apartments, development opportunities, investment portfolios and mixed-use assets. My experience spans all aspects of residential valuation, including secured lending, acquisition and disposal advice, tax-related valuations, portfolio assessment, development appraisal and strategic consultancy, delivering robust and well-reasoned advice to a wide range of private, corporate, institutional clients and banking clients.

I have developed particular expertise in the Prime Central London market, advising on some of the capital’s most prestigious and valuable residential properties. My work has involved the valuation of individual high-value assets across key locations including Mayfair, Belgravia, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Kensington, St John’s Wood and Notting Hill, where an in-depth understanding of market dynamics, buyer behaviour and asset-specific characteristics is essential. Combining detailed market knowledge with a rigorous analytical approach, I provide clear, reliable and commercially focused valuation advice that supports informed decision-making in an often complex and highly competitive marketplace.

This Is Now
Michael John is helping to lead the new expanded London operation with a particular focus on the valuation team but also supporting the wider business in relation to business development and client support. Michael John is achieving this through his vast network of contacts within the industry and his knowledge of the markets in which he operates.

Rest And Play
Outside of work, Michael John enjoys maintaining an active and well-rounded lifestyle, balancing time with friends and family alongside a strong passion for sport. As the father of two young children, much of Michael John’s time outside work is spent with his family. From weekends and holidays to the day-to-day activities that come with raising a young family, he enjoys staying involved and making the most of his time at home.

A keen golfer, he takes every opportunity to get out on the course, whether playing socially or taking on a competitive challenge. He is also an enthusiastic follower of a wide range of sports and enjoys attending live sporting events whenever possible.

Who
Rahul is a Surveyor working within the Commercial Property Management team at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors, based across the Birmingham and London offices.

That Was Then
Rahul joined Shepherd as a Graduate Surveyor in the Birmingham office and now also works from the London offices, broadening his experience while working towards his Commercial Real Estate APC.

This Is Now
Rahul works within Commercial Property Management, gaining experience across landlord and tenant matters, rent reviews, lease renewals, service charges, property inspections and the letting and marketing of commercial property.

Rest And Play
Outside of work, Rahul enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family, trying new places for food and drinks, and has a keen interest in football, cars and nature.

Who
Born and raised just outside London, Jane Beacham is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. She runs the Building Surveying department for the whole of Shepherds England.

That Was Then
Having joined Shepherd Property Consultants in 2021, Jane became an Associate at Shepherd Chartered Surveyors in 2024 following the merger between the firms. She chartered as a Building Surveyor in 1999 and has built a long career working with leading London-based real estate firms. She later moved into an in-house Building Surveyor role with a medium-sized property management company, before joining Shepherds.

Over the years, she has gained broad, hands-on experience across all areas of building surveying, including project management, dilapidations and insurance valuations.

This Is Now
She works across the whole of England and is based in the newly established London Mayfair office, working closely with the rest of Shepherd where together they service a number of multi disciplinary offerings to a varied set of clients.  She enjoys working closely with clients and providing clear, practical technical due diligence advice they can rely on.

Who
Based in London, Andrey is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors based in our commercial department.

This is now
Having joined Shepherd Property Consultants in 2020, Andrey works within our Property Management team where he looks after a number of multi-let, mixed-use and standalone commercial properties throughout UK.

Outside work, Andrey is keen footballer and keen participant of various challenges.
